ORDER concerning the nègres of the Dependency of Le Cap

Haitian

By this Order of M. de la Boulais, Lieutenant de Roi at Le Cap, all nègres are enjoined to conduct themselves respectfully toward Whites; and the latter are authorized to kill them if they perceive in their conduct the slightest proof of uprising. This Order was a consequence of the discovery of the Conspiracy that had given rise to the Judgment of the preceding day.
