Normil Charles presents a plaster statue of Notre Dame de la Merci

Haitian

In August 1918 the Haitian sculptor Normil Charles presented to the admiration of the public a plaster statue representing Our Lady of Mercy, measuring 1 meter 50 in height, destined for the church of the Petite Rivière de l’Artibonite.

Rouzier tells this under the entry PETITE RIVIERE de L’ARTIBONITE.
