Moïse leads Toussaint’s first column through Grand-Gilles

On 31 December 1794, the first column of Toussaint-Louverture, going to attack the Spaniards at the Grande-Rivière, passed through the Grand-Gilles. It was commanded by Commandant Moïse.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Grand-Gilles.
