Massacre of Riviériste insurgents at the Tort bridge

Volant le Tort. Letort. Corail Torre. On 17 September 1845 there was at the bridge of Tort a massacre of the Riviériste insurgents after their defeat at Léogane, where their leader, Colonel Pierre Paul, was staying. Terlonge had gone to disperse them.

Rouzier tells this under the entry TORRE ou TORT, ou Volant le Tort.
