La Marmelade. Its commandant adheres to the revolution.

On 4 March General Marc fils, commandant of the arrondissement of La Marmelade, made his adhesion. On 6 March the officers and soldiers of the national guard of Saint-Louis du Nord adhered to the nomination of Riché, but declared that they would no longer have at the head of their commune General Joachim Ambroise, whom the ex-President Pierrot had named; and that they asked, to command them, for Colonel Pierre Délicat, who had worthily replaced General Vincent Louis.
