Saint-Marc. President Guerrier dies there.

President Guerrier’s illness had grown so much worse that the minister of the Interior had gone to Saint-Marc, accompanied by Doctor Smith, to attend him; but all the resources of the art were useless; President Guerrier breathed his last on 15 April at four o’clock in the afternoon. He had succumbed, according to the report of Doctor Smith, to the attacks of a hydrothorax with the beginning of a hydrocephalus.
