Denmark, Norway, Sweden. Its consul attends the prize-giving of the Lycée National.

Citizen Honoré Féry, learned and capable, gave particular care to public instruction. On 24 December he delivered a fine speech at the solemn prize-giving of the Lycée National, directed by citizen Eugène Seguy Villevalex, himself deeply versed in ancient and modern letters, a former pupil of the École Normale Supérieure of France. The attendance was considerable, and the President of the Republic honored the ceremony with his presence, having at his side all the secretaries of state, the consul-general of France, the consuls of Sweden and Norway and of Denmark, and the civil and military authorities.
