“Given at Rome, at the Palace of the said Sacred Congregation, 31 January 1844. Gratis, without any fee, on any account. “Signed: J. Ph. Cardinal Fransonius, prefect; Jean Brunalli, secretary.” At the foot of this decree, on the left, is the seal of the Congregation, bearing these words: “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.”
