Le Cap. Jouette and Valentin de Cullion are ordered out of the province.

The colonial assembly, having received the protest of the provincial assembly of the North, sent two commissioners, Jouette and Valentin de Cuillon, to Le Cap to rouse that town. But the provincial assembly soon discovered their intentions and served notice on them to leave the province, on pain of being seized bodily, shipped to France and accused before the Constituent Assembly of being the instigators of civil war (17 June 1790). They at once left Le Cap and the province.
