Letter of the Ministre to M. the Intendant, to furnish him every six months a detailed statement of the nègres introduced into the Colony

UP to now the orders that were given to send an exact statement of the quantity of nègres introduced into the Colonies have been neglected. Please send me one, in which you will take care to detail the quantity of nègres, négresses, négrillons and négrites introduced since the Peace at Saint-Domingue, and to include in it the names of the Shipowners, of the Vessels, of the Ports from which they were dispatched, and the dates of their arrival in the Colony. You will take care to have a similar statement reach me every six months.
