Law puts Leogane sugar and coffee habitations up for sale

Haitian

The sugar habitations Lassale, grande place, Boniot, Mithon, Nolivos, Brache, Barbeau, Masson called Segrettier, Cassagne, Macombe, Aubry, Mariany and Mercery of this commune, and the coffee habitation Pères Brignol, were put up for sale by the law of 10 March 1814 in order to revive cultivation and to increase the number of landowners.

Rouzier tells this under the entry LEOGANE.
