Law of 10 March 1814 puts Lomond up for sale
Haitian
LOMOND or LAUMONT. Habitation in the rural section of the Fond des Nègres, commune of Miragoâne. This position commands the communications between the departments of the West and the South. The Cacos occupied it in 1868. It was put up for sale by the law of 10 March 1814 to revive cultivation and increase the number of landowners.
Rouzier tells this under the entry LOMOND ou LAUMONT.
