Law gives Kavanack to the mother of General Lamarre

Haitian

KAVANACK. Sugar habitation located in the commune of Petit-Goâve, which Madame Widow Pélerin, mother of General Lamarre, the hero of the Môle, held on lease from the State. It was given to her as a national gift by the law of 18 August 1814, as was the Corail.

Rouzier tells this under the entry KAVANACK.
