Law creates a gendarmerie company for La Chapelle

Population: 6,000 souls. Rural school. The garrison of the commune is made up of a company of gendarmerie created by the law of 10 September 1890, one of administrative police, one of line artillery, the rural police, and the national guard on foot and on horseback.
