Haitian

By his order of the day of 29 March 1889, General Joseph Prophète announced the capture of this important position by the government troops. Lassale was occupied by them after the rout of General Piquant at Dessalines. Erected into a quartier of the arrondissement of Fort-Liberté by the decree of the provisional government of Saint-Marc of 3 August 1889.
