Lassale occupies Drouillard during the siege of Port-au-Prince
Haitian
On 5 April 1793, when the civil commissioners Southonax and Polvérel came from Saint-Marc to besiege Port-au-Prince, Governor de Lassale marched against that town from the side of the plain of the Cul-de-Sac, and came to occupy the positions of Drouillard and of the morne Pelé. Beauvais occupied Bizoton.
Rouzier tells this under the entry Drouillard.
