Lamarre lands at Port-à-Piment to aid Nicolas Louis against Christophe

On 2 July 1807 General Lamarre landed at Port-à Piment, going to bring aid to Nicolas Louis, in insurrection at Port de Paix against Christophe in favor of President Pétion. Adjutant General Delva, Colonel Gardel and Eveillard, all officers of rare courage, accompanied him. Lamarre went on to Port de Paix.

Rouzier tells this under the entry PORT A-PIMENT [le] du Nord.
