Jérémie men took Morne Château from the Piquets at 4 a.m.

MORNE CHATEAU. Position occupied by the Piquets of Jérémie against the town in revolt against President Salomon and commanded by General Blanc Castera. On 23 September 1883 the people of Jérémie took it from the Piquets at 4 o’clock in the morning.
