Jean-Claude Duvalier dies of a heart attack, his trial unfinished

Jean-Claude Duvalier died on 4 October 2014, aged sixty-three. He had ruled Haiti from 1971 until the uprising of February 1986 drove him out. He returned from French exile on 16 January 2011 and was arrested the next day, charged with corruption on the 18th, and pleaded not guilty in February 2013. He died before any verdict.
