Jean-Ciseaux made a military post

Haitian

JEAN-CISEAUX. It was established as a poste militaire of the arrondissement of Port-au-Prince by decree of the President of Haiti of 30 March 1875. Its boundary is as follows: starting from the Léogane gate and running along the line on the west side of the Powder Magazine, not including the outer cemetery; from there to Fort Mercredi, including that fort, to end at the Leclerc Basin; following this line downhill, stopping at the bridge of the habitation Le Tort, on the main road, including Bizoton and the fort of that name; then skirting the shore to reach the starting point, outside the Léogane Gate, at the foot of the road that leads to Fort Mercredi and to the Leclerc Spring. Rural school.

Rouzier tells this under the entry JEAN-CISEAUX.
