Hyppolyte enters Port-au-Prince at the head of the Northern and Southern armies
Haitian
On 23 August 1889, after the departure of President Légitime, which took place the day before, the army of the North and of the South, which was besieging Port-au-Prince, made its entry into that city with General Hyppolite at its head.
Rouzier tells this under the entry PORT-AU PRINCE [le].
