Grande-Saline is detached from Saint-Marc by decree

Grande-Saline (la). Commune of the 5th class of the arrondissement of Dessalines, of which it is the only seaport. It was detached from the arrondissement of Saint-Marc by decree of 10 September 1889 of the provisional government.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Grande-Saline (la).
