Hinche joins the rebellion of Les Gonaïves, then submits
Haitian
On 10 July 1866, Hinche declared itself in favor of the rebellion that seized the town of the Gonaïves; but this latter town having made its submission to General Philippeaux, Minister of War of President Geffrard, Hinche also placed itself under the authority of the Government, without bloodshed.
Rouzier tells this under the entry HINCHE.
