Haitian legislature sanctions the conventions

Haitian

A treaty of commerce, friendship and extradition with the Dominican Republic, on 9 November 1874, which treaty ceased to be in force by virtue of two conventions signed by C. Archin and M. Heureaux and dated 14 October 1880: the one fixing a period of 8 months in order to come to an understanding and to arrive at a definitive agreement for the conclusion of a new treaty and the delimitation of the frontiers; the other imposing neutrality in troubles that might harm the internal conduct of affairs of either government. These two conventions were sanctioned on 7 October 1882 by the Haitian Legislative Body.

Rouzier tells this under the entry HAÏTI: Postal Union.
