Haiti wins its first World Cup qualifier, away in Port of Spain

On 23 November 1968 Haiti won a World Cup qualifying match for the first time, away to Trinidad and Tobago at Port of Spain, under Antoine Tassy. The run that began here would carry the team, six years later, to West Germany and the only World Cup finals a Haitian side has reached.
