Grande-Saline fires 21 shots at the Mancel

Haitian

On 1 December 1888, during the insurrection of the North against the authority of the head of the executive power, General Légitime, the Grande-Saline fired 21 cannon shots at the Haitian ship the Mancel. The Toussaint-Louverture replied with 5 cannonballs, which silenced the fire of the Northerners.
