Generals Dardignac and Millien St. Jean storm Petit Bois
Haitian
PETIT BOIS (le). Habitation in the Matheux, commune of the Arcahaie. On 2 January 1889 the Northerners were beaten by Generals Dardignac and Millien St. Jean. This position of Petit Bois, which they occupied, was taken from them by assault after a combat in which the Government army fortunately had no loss to deplore.
Rouzier tells this under the entry PETIT BOIS (le).
