General Marion buried in the church

Apart from the fountain of the market, other small fountains once gave water to the hospital, to the arsenal and to the vessels in the roadstead; they no longer exist. All these improvements were due to the care of General Marion, buried in the church on 20 November 1831.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Cayes (les).
