General Aimé Legros passes Coupe Mardi-Gras on his way to take arms against Geffrard

Haitian

On Monday 4 May 1863 General Aimé Legros, former minister of the Interior under President Geffrard, accompanied by Commandant Dossous Blaize, his uncle, and by three guides, going to Dessalines to take up arms there against Geffrard, passed through the Coupe Mardi-Gras. He left one of his tired horses there.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Coupe Mardi-Gras (la).
