Freedmen of the South choose Rigaud and Borgella as leaders

On 29 August 1791 the affranchis of the South gave themselves leaders; these were Rigaud and Borgella. They had already assembled on 5 November 1790, at the call of Ogé.

Rouzier tells this under the entry SUD.
