Fort Belair falls to the government

Haitian

On 9 November, at four o’clock in the afternoon, the fort Belair fell into the power of the government, not without lively resistance, and under the fire of the English cannon. Colonel Normil Sambour was wounded there.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Belair.
