Férou meets Bazile; Bazile dislodges 300 French at camp Bourdon

Haitian

In July 1803, Férou, abandoning the camp Gérard to go and take Jérémie from the French, met there on 5 July Colonel Bazile at the head of the vanguard. They marched on the camp Bourdon, which 300 French were occupying. Bazile dislodged them and killed a great number of them.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Gauthier.
