Estimé’s whole cabinet resigns, and Daniel Fignolé is forced out

On 25 October 1946 the entire cabinet of President Dumarsais Estimé resigned. Ministers hostile to Daniel Fignolé had manoeuvred against him, and the resignation obliged Estimé to drop him as minister of National Education and Public Health. The new cabinet was formed the next day.
