English from the Môle send new forces against Bombardopolis

On 14 June 1796 the English established at the Môle directed fresh forces against Bombardopolis. This parish, then perfectly planted with food crops of every kind, was bound to be of great importance for the English garrison and fleet at the Môle.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Bombardopolis ou Bombarde.
