Duvalier’s army kills the last three Jeune Haïti fighters at Ravine à Roche

On 26 October 1964 Guslé Villedrouin, Roland Rigaud and Réginald “Bobby” Jourdan died in a gunfight at Ravine à Roche, near l’Asile. Thirteen Jeune Haïti exiles had landed at Petite-Rivière-de-Dame-Marie in early August; the survivors had walked more than 200 km. Two captured comrades, Marcel Numa and Louis Drouin, were shot in Port-au-Prince on 12 November, in front of schoolchildren.
