Dominican congress adopts Moya’s map showing Haitian occupation

Haitian

PEDERNALES. In the south of the island, our material occupation comprises a portion of territory situated on the left bank of the Pedernales river and separated from the territory of Dominican occupation by a curved line starting from the Figuier and going up in the direction of Limon to cross the Etang Saumâtre. The material occupation of Haiti is even recorded in the map of the island drawn up by General C. N. de Moya, a Dominican, a map officially adopted by resolution of the Dominican congress dated 18 May 1905.

Rouzier tells this under the entry PEDERNALES.
