Dessalines leaves Galar and reaches Marchand in four days

Galar. Habitation one lieue from Santo-Domingo, from which Emperor Dessalines wrote on 6 March 1805 to General Ferrand to summon him to surrender the place. Dessalines, having left the headquarters at Galar on the evening of 28 March, took only four days to reach Marchand, 120 lieues from that point.
