Debelle’s column marches from Port-de-Paix against Maurepas
Haitian
On 20 February 1802, a column of General Debelle’s division left Port-de-Paix to attack Maurepas at the Trois-Pavillons. It followed the road to the Cap as far as the Laveaux Lapointe habitation, climbed the lookout of Lapointe, entered the mountain by the Chapron habitation, and halted at Brossier, a quarter of a lieues from Maurepas’s camp.
Rouzier tells this under the entry LAVEAUX-LAPOINTE.
