David Troy returns to Mirebalais for the French

Haitian

In December Pétion seized Mirebalais, which David Troy evacuated. The church was full of sick and wounded men, who were stripped. Pétion bivouacked in the Savanne-la-Roue. Adjutant General Luthier set out from Hinche with 200 men and marched on Mirebalais, which he seized. David Troy came back to take up his post for the French on the 15th of the same month.

Rouzier tells this under the entry MIREBALAIS (le).
