Consignment and surtax duties repealed

Art. 1. From 1 December next, the provisions contained in article 11 of the law of 13 July 1858 on customs concerning the consignment duty are repealed; likewise those contained in the law of 2 October 1863 which creates an additional duty of 10 per cent on import; those contained in the law of 21 September 1870 which creates 10 per cent for the liquidation of the debts of the revolution; and those contained in the law of 21 August 1872 which creates 25 per cent on import for the withdrawal of the paper money.
