Concession extended from 7 to 10 years on Devèze’s proposal
Haitian
On 9 September 1862, on the proposal of Mr Devèze, the government extended the term of the concession from 7 to 10 years, to begin on 24 March 1863. The State was to receive 35¼ % of the timber exploited, and one sixth, gross and in kind, of the other products. Products destined for export were exempt from duties.
Rouzier tells this under the entry TORTUE (la).
