Commissioners send Pinchinat and Rigaud to subdue the Grand’Anse

On 12 April 1793, the civil commissioners Sonthonax and Polvérel charged Pinchinat and Rigaud with going to subdue the Grand’Anse, which the colonists delivered to the English on 19 September.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Grand’Anse (la).
