Christopher Columbus dies at Valladolid

It was in this Cathedral that the remains of Christopher Columbus were interred, after their translation from Seville, where they had been carried from Valladolid; that great man having died in this last town on 20 May 1506. Those of Bartholomew Columbus were also buried there.

Rouzier tells this under the entry SANTO-DOMINGO.
