Chamber and Senate vote a pension to General Morisset’s widow
Haitian
General Milieu Jean-Jacques immediately replaced General Morisset at the head of the army. In the session of 30 May, the Chamber and the Senate voted a pension of $1,200 to the widow of General Morisset, as a national reward. The government of President Salnave abolished this pension as soon as it came to power.
Rouzier tells this under the entry Chatard.
