c. 2007–2017: A specialized research group known as the “Keeganites” made substantial contributions to Caribbean archaeology over a dedicated ten-year span. This team consisted of students and colleagues from Leiden University and the University of Florida who assisted in complex fieldwork and data preparation. Their collaborative efforts were essential for managing the vast amount of archaeological information gathered during the authors’ projects. This period of intense research helped bridge the gap between specific site findings and general cultural theories. The team’s work is credited as a vital component in the successful completion of the authors’ comprehensive regional study.
