Birth of Fabre Geffrard

General Fabre Geffrard, who was president of Haiti, was born at Anse-à-Veau on 23 September 1806, as were Pierre Monplaisir Pierre, Sénèque Pierre, the two Piquant brothers and Hugon Lechaud, who served as secretaries of state.
