Bellamin surrenders the Arthémise to the republic and anchors at Miragoâne

On 29 January 1812 Bellamin, leader of the revolt aboard the Arthémise or the Amethyste, a warship of Christophe, surrendered to the republic and went to take anchorage at Miragoâne.
