Belair burned

Haitian

There is the chapel of Saint-François, built by Mgr Guilloux, archbishop of Port-au-Prince, in 1880. The Belair was set on fire on 30 April 1869 at 7 o’clock in the evening; there still exist there today houses falling into decay, which date from the French. The forts Bazelais, du Calvaire and others are located on the Belair.

Rouzier tells this under the entry Belair.
