Band chief Sans-Souci camps at Mapou de l’Escalier against the French

In 1840 there were in this rural section 60 coffee habitations well kept and 33 in decline. Total 93. On 2 August 1802, the famous band leader Sans-Souci was camped at the Mapou de l’Escalier on the boundary of Plaisance and Ennery against the French
