1830: Insurrection aboard the Manzanares, bound for Freetown (voyage 2407)

On a slaving voyage that ended at Freetown in 1830, the people aboard the Manzanares rose against the crew. They had been taken at Gallinhas.

The record gives the numbers as: 354 people were embarked; 349 were landed; 5 died on the crossing.
